I love Audrey Hepburn quotes! I wish I had known her. She seemed like the epitome of a lady, and yet progressive for her time period. I love the fact that she refers to herself as an introvert. I think introverts are misunderstood and often thought of as recluses and hermits. The true definition of an introvert is that they get energized from alone time, as opposed to their counter persona, the extrovert, which absolutely has to be around other people and is energized by doing so. Both personality traits are great.
I am by nature, an introvert, and yet I am often mistaken for an extrovert because I have been a top sales person, I am a public speaker and singer. But those are all skills I gained through life in the various positions I have held. Even though I like people and have have a generally great conversation, I still, in the core of who I am, like nothing better than a quiet night at home.
